Admittedly, it was an uncomplicated procedure as far as these things go but I was amazed and delighted with the speed of my recovery. Acupuncture for Smoking Cessation

Acupuncture is often used in the treatment of addictions.  It works by increasing the levels of endorphins and brain neurotransmitters that are integral to the central nervous system. These shifts help to decrease the desire for the addictive substance. Over the past decade clinical research studies have shown that acupuncture is effective in helping people quit smoking.  A 2010 study in the Journal of Neurological Research studied the effects on 29 smokers.
