Spring is upon us and it’s a great time to renew your commitment to your spinal health by seeing your Network Chiropractor. Please read on for the March news.


Chin Tuck Exercise

Many of you have been practicing a new exercise to correct your spine. It’s the chin tuck and it’s simple and easy to master.

Start with your head facing forward. Make a mental note of where your chin is. Using only your neck, gently bring your head straight backwards. Your chin stays level, it doesn’t tip up or down. It may help to practice this early on in front of a mirror.

Hold gently for 10 seconds. Relax. Repeat. It’s easy to engage the shoulders and upper back, so make sure they stay relaxed.

Repeat chin tucks 100 times daily. Your Network Chiropractic entrainments, traction and other home exercises are also needed to correct your spine.

When should you do the chin tucks? Any time is a good time. Convenient times are during your commutes, while at your desk, reading books, and using your electronic devices.
