Are you sitting at a desk all day in front of a computer screen?  Well, I’m sure that many of us will answer ‘yes’ especially in this age of technology and find it quite challenging to avoid, in any type of work environment. Did you know that continually staying in the same position can lead to repetitive strain injuries, changes in posture, and a build up of stress on your system?

To help make sure that you support your body in the best way possible, it’s important to have the proper set-up at your workstation. Easy adjustments that can be made are: making sure your chair is at the right height, placing the screen at the proper distance and angle, and ensuring correct placement of your mouse and keyboard.

A good workstation allows you to move freely and change positions easily. Using simple modifications as you work can decrease the strain placed on joints and allow for a healthier, more productive day.

Join us for our Health Body and Office Ergonomics workshop to learn how to make your workspace more comfortable. Monday, October 17th, 2011 at 6 pm. Presented by Dr. Anita Rajan, DC.
